Tonight starting at 20:30 Malta will receive the visit of the Czech Republic in a match of Group B of qualifying for the World Championships next year.
Malta is the weakest team in this group, topping last. Yet this small national state was able to produce surprise defeat away to Armenia on 1-0. Otherwise Maltese but suffered setbacks on the line, receiving no less than 18 goals and scoring just four. Besides double Armenians, Malta has received national in at least two goals every game, the score is 3-1 this confrontation tour to Czech Republic.
Czech Republic still keeps chances to qualify for the next, but these are very small. Basically qualification will succeed only in case of failures of Bulgaria and Denmark are especially unlikely that Denmark will meet in the last round Malta. Czech band has diminished chances in qualifying especially after losing the last two matches with Armenia and Italy. Four of the last five matches played by the band’s Josef Pesic ended with over 2.5 goals. The Czechs have won once in the preliminaries in away games, against Armenia 3-0. The biggest absence of Pesic’s group for a meeting tonight is that of Tomas Rosicky, the midfielder being excused by coach Arsene Wenger at his request because it still has physical problems.
